Extenda Tasting Event
On the 3rd of May, we were lucky enough to be invited to take part in a tasting event organised by Extenda, the trade promotion agency of Andalucía.
The event took place in the H10 Waterloo, a really fantastic hotel and venue in central London.
The guided tasting was hosted by Mar Fernandez from the Spanish Olive Oil School, who shared her wealth of knowledge and experience with our group which consisted of importers, buyers, chefs, food writers and journalists.
After the workshop, the group were invited to try each of the 19 oils that were featured. Our La Samiaja Picual was one of these.
During lunch, we had the pleasure of chatting with Judy Ridgway, aclaimed food writer and international olive oil expert and consultant which was absolutely fantastic.
